Yesterday Mr and Mrs Michelle came and taught us about boat safety and fishing for the future and these are the things that I think are the most important things to take on a boat in case you get stranded or if you get stuck in the middle of the ocean.

These are things to take on your fishing boat.One of the most important things to take on a fishing trip is a flare gun.The reason why I think a flare gun is important because in case you get lost in the middle of the sea or if you are stranded on a island you can shoot it into the sky and that makes a signal for boats or helicopters that are close.Or you can find black rubber and put it in leaves and wood and grass and shoot the flare gun at the fire you will make black smoke that people can see that is another way to sinal someone for help if you are lost or you are stranded on an island and get back.

The second most important thing is life jackets the reason why life jackets are important is because if your boat hits something it will sink and if you are far from shore and your arms get tired you will sink to the bottom of the ocean and die.But if you have a life jacket you will float in the water even if you stop swimming and you will be safe  long enough for you to reach shore and you can go get help and everyone that was on the boat with you will be saved and no one will get hurt.

The third most important thing is a radio because in case you are lost you can contact someone and ask them to get help.You can also call a near by helicopter or a near by boat.You can also use the redid to check the weather in case a hurricane or a storm is happening in the middle of the sea.If you go in the middle of the sea in a boat it is possible that the boat will sink and you will die if you don’t have a life jacket or anything to make you float in the water.

He also taught us that if you want to find fish you have to get some binoculars and you have to look if there are any birds because if there are any birds around then that means that there are fish there but before you throw your fishing hook in the water with your bait on it you have to scare the birds away from the water so they don’t go for your hook with bait on it.Because if they eat your hook then the hook will cut through the jaw or the top half of the mouth and there is a little piece of metal that sticks out and if you try pulling it out that little piece of metal will pull all the guts out of the bird and the bird will die.

He told us interesting stuff like if you find a big trophy fish the right thing is to put it back in the water so it can breed and it can make or fish you don’t want fish to be instinct do you?He said that you have to measure your fish if they are longer you have to put them back into the water because they might have babies and if you find a small one you have to put it back so it can grow and breed with other fish and make more babies and there will be enough fish for your sons and daughters in the future.

I think that all of this that they have taught us is very useful and it will make sure that there are enough fish for people in the future and that fish won’t go extinct.Because if they go extinct then what will the sharks and whale will eat they will starve and die and that will make whales and sharks extinct and there will be no creatures in the sea’s for people to see and play with there will be no goldfishes and no dolphins in aquariums so that is why I think the things he taught us are important.

FiaFia

Today we are getting ready for FiaFia this Thursday on Pt England road at Pt England school.For FiaFia I am in hip hop and we are doing dancing we are dancing to cool song like tricky from the white chicks and California love.Our hip hop teacher is Miss Hare and Miss Hare is a great role model to the kids in my hip hop group she shows us how to not care about what other people say and to just go hard out to inspire other kids.We have had six or seven practices and it was fun getting to know the year sevens for 2016.

We only have one day until FiaFia and I am getting nervous because this is my first time performing at FiaFia for pt England school.FiaFia is about sharing your cultures with other people and getting to learn about how the other cultures communicate and what kind of dancing they do.If you are tongan it doesn't mean you can’t join samoan you can join whatever group you want to be in.I think FiaFia is helping the kids how to learn from other cultures and respect them and on the way they are learning a lot and they are having a lot of fun.

If you want to come you need to bring a gold going and there is going to be a lot of food like pork buns and a candy floss machine.It is going to be a lot of fun and there is going to be over three thousand people there at FiaFia.The things I am looking forward to in FiaFia is seeing my freinds and seeing my family in the crowd and preforming my best to blend in and not stick out.

At FiaFia there are going to be maori groups tongan groups dancing groups and there is going to be samoan groups.I have some family members in the Niue group and the Tognan group.Tomorrow my cousins and me are going to the FiaFia and we will have a lot of fun and it will be our first experience going to a different primary FiaFia.FiaFia is going to be a fun night for the families and all the kids.So why don’t you come on down and kick back and enjoy the show.

This is a presentation about a police officer and there is a puppy under his car and he can't get it out.The puppy stayed under there for twenty minutes and it wouldn't even come out for a hot dog.So the police officer called the animal control and they succeed and got the dog out.The dog had no tag or Microchip and if the dog is not claimed in the last 72 hours it will be put up for adoption.

How to be a good PtEnglander

If you want to be a good and successful Pt Englander

the lesson to this my Opinions.

Paragraph1. You have to always respect a teacher no matter who they are. And always follow the rules and never disappoint them.If you get caught doing something bad then teachers will know that you are a bad person.

Paragraph2. If the teacher tells you to look after someone or something then look after it and treat it with respect.Also never swear or treat someone like rubbish or you will be in the principal's office or the teachers office.And never ever lie or they will get so angry and you will be in big trouble.   

Paragraph 3.Always treat someone how you will treat your self.Never say no to a teacher or a parent.And always lesson to teacher and make them feel like there royal.

Paragraph4. And never ever say no,shut up,swear,shout and throw stuff at people.

My stepmother was vile.  I guess most kids think that when their father remarries.  But in this case, it was true.  She only married Father because he was rich, and she hated children.  There were three of us – me (Marie), my middle brother Richard and my youngest brother Charles.  We were the price my stepmother Gerta paid for being rich.  And we were all that stood between her and inheriting Father's money when he died.  So she took steps against us.

    She sent my youngest brother Charles away to boarding school overseas.  It had a good, scholarly reputation, but it also had the reputation for being a hard school that was full of bullies and strict discipline.  Not a place where a delicate child like Charles, who had been sickly as a baby, would thrive.  He was miserable there.  Somehow, Gerta contrived to keep him there for all but the summer holidays, and when he came home the first year he was pale and thin with dark circles under his eyes that looked like bruises.  He cried – he actually cried! – when Father told him he had to go back to the school.  But Father didn’t listen to him.  Gerta thought it would be good for Charles to go there, and so Charles went.  

 I did everything I could – encouraging letters and daily phone calls – until Gerta said it was too expensive and restricted calls to five minutes once a month.   I even got Father to book me a ticket to Europe so I could visit Charles.  Gerta was enraged when she found out.  Her blue eyes went so cold it made chills run up my spine, and her pink mouth thinned into a bitter line that bade ill for me since I had dared to interfere.  Two days before my plane left for Europe, the school called and told us that Charles had climbed up to the tallest tower and flung himself off.  He was dead.

 Father was shocked, of course, and Gerta was quietly triumphant.  For a few months, Father paid more attention to Richard and myself then he had since our mother died.  But Gerta was beautiful and had winning ways about her that soon drew my Father’s attention away.  And now that one of her hated stepchildren was dead, she focused on another.  Poor Richard was next...

My First Day in Glen Innes

One day I went to church and it was my first time because we moved to a new church and a house and also an awesome cool new school called Point England school. at church I sat with my cousin next to other kids and I was very shy. Then the next day I went to my new school and met new people and new friends. It was so strange I wanted to stay home all day but I went and had the best day of my life! I met nice teachers called Mr S, Mrs Jacobson, Mrs Garden and Mr Goodwin. Thats the story of when I first went to Glen Innes!
